Making Your Health, Fitness, and Finances a Priority
I know what it means to be busy. A typical day for me is filled with workouts, activities, family time, “me” time, and lots of phone calls and Facebook. Don’t get me wrong, though. I love what I do! In addition to the everyday activity, we spend a lot of time traveling for business and for pleasure! Since we don’t live near our families anymore we are always heading home or to some other part of the country. We have been to Breckenridge, the Bahamas, Las Vegas, and Bora Bora already this year with plans to go to Vegas, St. Louis, Dallas, Africa, Bahamas (again!) and who knows where else. It’s pretty safe to assume that I am a very busy person. No matter what happens throughout the year, I make time for what is important to me.
Ask yourself… what is important to you? I am sure that you might give the typical answer for your priorities. God, Family, Job, etc. I am not going to argue there! These should all be priorities! But do you have to exclude some of the other important things in your life because you feel like you don’t have time for them? I make my health and fitness a priority. I plan in advance for the type of food I am going to eat and what workout program I will be doing. This is why I love Beachbody programs! I can choose a program and for the next 60-90 days I know exactly what workout I have on what day. No guessing! Then I build time in my schedule to do my workout. I still have time for the other things that are important! Will you sometimes have to sacrifice some family time to get in your workout? YES! But you are doing this for your family, too. And trust me, they will be ok for an hour a day while you work on yourself!
The same goes for your finances. It is easy to get into a rut of knowing that your fulltime job takes a lot of time. Typically, you are awake for about 80 hours a workweek. Also, you are likely to work, commute, and devote about 60 hours a week to that job. It leaves about 20 hours a week (*plus weekends) to fit in everything else. This is why so many people are stuck in this for the majority of their lives. It never seems like enough time to do anything different. But I can tell you…IT IS!!! You have to do something different if you want a different result. As a Beachbody Coach, you CAN sacrifice some of that additional time each week to build something that is truly worthwhile and can help you get away from committing that time to building the dreams of your employer and not yours.
You CAN do this. If you want to be healthy, get fit, and become financially independent, you can devote the time and energy to achieving that success. And I want to help you. I have done it. My husband (Kevin) is now able to be a retired Engineer and stay at home Dad at the age of 30 because of applying this work method. Are you willing to do this? We can show you how! If you have been waiting for that push, here it is.
